Winter
Standing in front of his apartment, with a mitten in his mouth, which was previously protecting his hand from the cold, he rummaged through the pocket of his long white coat for the apartment keys. His hair eventually managed to escape the white beanie on his head, currently falling into his eyes, hindering his view more. His other hand was starting to give up on holding the bag of groceries, which now touched his white boots. The tall male was clearly struggling, his keys lost in the numerous useless bills and small papers littering in his pocket for no reason. I need to clean up my pockets, he made a mental note, as his hand finally gave up and dropped the grocery bag on the floor. Soobin removed his other mitten and flinched at the instant cold his perfectly warm hand came in contact with and searched his other pocket for the key with an evident pout on his face. He must’ve been making a lot of noise (the bag did fall very hard, though, probably the bottle of almond milk broke), because the neighbour came out to see what all the fuss was about. It was another male two years younger than Soobin, and very kind indeed, as he brought the spare-key he had for Soobin to use for now. The said male was flustered for having to bother his neighbour, but he bowed in a thankful way and entered his apartment (although he was sad about the almond milk). Before the chilly air could enter his cosy space, he locked his doors and made his way to the couch to lie down. Coffee. He didn’t even have to think, his body worked by itself at this point. Getting rid of his coat and beanie, he scrabbled about in the groceries to look for the coffee jar. He hurriedly made a warm cup for himself after a long first day at work, finally at peace by himself.
Spring
He couldn’t help but laugh at his struggling neighbour. The giant-childlike man had lost his keys as always, so he brought him the spare-key so the poor boy could finally get into his apartment. That happened ten minutes ago, now Taehyun was in his apartment preparing to make a gift for his best friend’s upcoming birthday. Handmade gifts were the best form of gifts for him, he somehow managed to express the exact emotion he feels through his gifts. He fetched his new yellow apron to protect his pink trousers and blue button up, putting on a bandana to keep his blond strands from getting in his way. He opened the window to let in some fresh air, but in it brought car honks and he couldn’t focus with that noise. He moved around his apartment, barefoot, because that’s how he liked it, searching for his speaker to put on some soft music. His face bent in a frown, since the speaker seemed nowhere to be found in the immense amount of flowers adorning his little space. The frown didn’t leave him until the music finally played, satisfied with the work environment he set. Two minutes in and he accidently drops some paint on his perfectly spotless apron. Well, everything has to have a start, he thought, glad that his pink pants were saved. His tongue stuck out a little as he went back to making a small flower on the side of the box, suddenly thankful for the bandana. He was carefully decorating the jewellery box with glitter when someone sent him a message. His smile grew when he saw it was his best friend and immediately started texting him.
Summer
Kai and Taehyun talked for an hour before Taehyun had to leave because he had some ‘work’. Having nothing to do, Kai plopped himself on his bed and stared at the roof. He was bored. Something nudged inside him and he jolted himself from the bed, no, he couldn’t just lay around and let the time pass away. He was going to have some fun. Though, he had no idea what he was supposed to do alone in his two-storey house, his parents away for work. And this thought took away all the motivation he had and he lied back down on his bed. Even Taehyun couldn’t talk to him at the moment. He had homework to do, but who does that these days anyway? Kai stood up on his bed, straightening his red shirt, thinking of all the things he could do right now (although he has no idea how his head didn’t get chopped off by the ceiling fan given his tall height). Video games. Yes! That’s what I can do! Happy that he finally had something, he hurriedly jumped off his bed and ran to the television in the living room. Connecting the gaming device to the T.V. monitor and putting on a headset, Kai was all set for a few hours of gaming. CHEETOS. How could he possibly forget them? He saw a cola bottle on his way back from fetching his beloved Cheetos, so he got it along. He called up his long-time gaming friend and finally got on with his fight to win over boredom.

“Take it easy, Kai,” laughed Beomgyu, as his friend Kai was not going to leave the evil king alone. “How can I? He mistreated the poor citizens for this long time, he deserves to be beaten up.” Beomgyu could hear his friend’s frustrated groans over the phone as he continued to jump over the dead virtual character. “Fine Kai, beat him up all you want, but I have to go complete the piece I was working on. And don’t you dare start whining now, we’ve been playing for two hours,” said Beomgyu, cutting the call right after, before Kai could convince him to play for another hour or two. He wanted to get back to work, but first, a shower. Showers help him clear his mind and think calmly. After calling up the singer he was working with to send him some vocals he required, an hour-long hot shower was perfect to let his body relax and get ready for a few hours of table work. He throws on some comfortable black pyjamas and a black shirt, rushing to the kitchen to make himself some tea before finally getting onto work. Being a music producer may sound like fun, but all the screen time was taking a toll on his eyes. He never complains about his work though, because music is his safe place and his only comfort is with his guitar. So that’s what Beomgyu does, he fetches his guitar, connects it to his computer, and strums on the strings to let out a sweet sound. As if on que, it starts raining outside, feeling himself relax against the sound of the guitar and the rain perfectly blending together.
Autumn
Yeonjun exited the studio, the last one to leave the building. Beomgyu had demanded some demo songs for their album in an hour, so he had to rush to the studio for recording. Finally done with his work, he started his walk home. He preferred to travel by foot, not just because he couldn’t drive but because it made him enjoy some time with himself and the city. He dug his hands deep into the pockets of his black pants, cosying into his orange turtleneck as the weather had started to get cooler. A cool wind blew, sending some of his brown hair flying into his eyes and the wind finding its way through the pores in his boots, and that was the moment Yeonjun knew he needed something to warm himself. Walking around, he stumbled upon a restaurant and thought to give it a try. Warmth engulfed him as soon as he entered, letting out a deep sigh at the sweet smell of caramel floating around. Finding an empty seat for himself in the corner, he decided to give the apple pie a try. While waiting for his order to arrive, he called up his boyfriend to ask about his first day at work. He patiently listened to him rant about his mean boss, all the while thinking, Soobin is such a cute boyfriend. He had to stop him in between when the pie finally arrived, already looking delicious by the looks of it. He took a few pictures of it before eventually keeping his phone away to start off with the eating part. The first bite melting into his mouth right away, and Yeonjun knew it’s now his favourite food joint. He spent another hour there, because three pies weren’t satisfying enough, but he finally got up and quickly made his way home for a short nap.
